Winsted's Process

Planning a new control room or upgrading an existing space? Proper design is critical. We can help.

Control room performance begins with intentional design. At Winsted, our "operator-out" philosophy ensures every space is engineered around the people carrying out the mission, because operator performance drives operational success.

From ergonomic planning and workflow optimization to seamless system integration and advanced visualization, we design environments built to perform. Partner with Winsted, our expertise ensures your environment is designed to perform today and into the future.

EXPERTISE BEHIND EVERY CONTROL ROOM

Effective control room design demands a deep understanding of the operator environment and the factors that influence performance. Winsted’s 3D Project Process integrates these critical elements to deliver a best-in-class control room solution.

What You Can Expect

At Winsted, every control room and workspace solution begins with our 3D Project Process. A collaborative approach that ensures each environment is designed from the operator out, focusing on operational efficiency, accuracy, and safety.

By working closely with our customers at every stage, we transform operational needs into fully realized control room solutions.

DISCOVER. Every project begins with understanding the operation. Our team gathers detailed information about workflows, operator requirements, room dimensions, and equipment inventories to ensure the design supports real world functionality.

DESIGN. Using the information gathered during discovery, our design team develops a comprehensive design package including layouts, technical drawings, product specifications, and 3D renderings. Each design is tailored to maximize operator accuracy, efficiency, ergonomics, and safety of the operational environment.

DELIVER. In the final phase, we present the full design package to the customer. We review every detail, allowing for feedback and refinements to ensure the final solution meets the operations exact requirements. The completed design is then delivered to the customer along with a detailed investment proposal and included services.

THE RESULT. A fully engineered control room solution designed for operational performance, accuracy, efficiency, and reliability.
