Introducing John Kocourek

Introducing John Kocourek, Winsted’s newest Mechanical Design Engineer!

John graduated from St. Thomas in 2021 and joined Winsted as an intern soon after. In January 2022, John was brought on as a full-time employee.

“I had learned about the control room industry while in school,” said John. “I was very interested in it because it is so focused and unique.”

As a Mechanical Design Engineer John supports Winsted clients by developing clear and detailed console assembly instructions and videos. He also works closely with his teammates supporting the design and creation of the new Vue Workstations and Sightline Consoles.

“I really enjoy my role at Winsted and am very excited to grow within the company,” concluded John.
