WINSTED HIRES RICH MCPHERSON AS REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 25, 2014 — Winsted Corporation (www.winsted.com) today announced that Rich McPherson has joined the company as regional sales manager for the Western United States. McPherson brings to Winsted significant experience in the audio/visual market – both as an engineer and in a sales role.

He began his career as an engineer, designing and specifying electronic systems for a variety of audio/visual applications for companies such as Tech Electronics, Vistek and Digital Sound Corp. He later moved into a sales management role, handling both end-user and dealer/integrator sales for control systems provider, Crestron Electronics.

They offer an excellent product that brings significant value to the customer,” said McPherson. “Having worked in the residential market recently I’m excited to return to the challenges of the commercial control room market and look forward to the opportunity to provide insightful solutions that help our customers do what they do best.”  

McPherson is replacing existing sales manager Dave Tewel, who will retire at the end of the year after more than 15 years with Winsted Corporation. McPherson will be based in Colorado and his territory will cover the Western United States, including Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa.
