MINNEAPOLIS, July 22, 2009 - New Sight-Line Pro consoles from Winsted incorporate all the attributes of the popular Sight-Line consoles, plus customized options to make your control room environment truly unique. Sight-Line Pro consoles also feature the company's innovative Comfort Edge work surface, designed to maximize operator comfort and productivity in 24/7 control room environments.

Sight-Line Pro offers a number of customizable features to increase workstation privacy and further enhance console appearance. Privacy panels in a variety of shapes, sizes and finishes can be incorporated into the console, creating a more personal workspace. Modesty panels located at the rear of the console conceal the back of the monitors, giving the console a professionally finished look, and offer additional privacy in control rooms with multiple rows of consoles. In addition, the console's rear metal doors are finished with a wood grain appearance to match the work surface.

Winsted's new Comfort Edge work surface features a smooth, contoured urethane edge molded to a 1-1/4-inch laminated medium-density fiberboard. This new feature both enhances operator comfort and gives the work surface a sleek, contemporary look. Comfort Edge work surfaces can be tooled to create straight and curved configurations for the ultimate in design flexibility. The urethane edge offers exceptional durability and is available in a wide variety of colors to complement any environment.

Sight-Line Pro consoles from Winsted feature the innovative Versa-Trak monitor array mounting system, which offers the ultimate in adjustability. The Versa-Trak system allows users to easily modify sight lines and monitor viewing angles based on personal needs.

Numerous design considerations make power and cable/wire management easy and efficient. Optional rack turrets with vented top are available in 3-1/2" (2U), 7" (4U), and 10-1/2" (6U) heights. Additional options include a swing-out CPU shelf on the door, a door pocket for storage of files and a 19-1/4 inch tapped rack rail kit for lower chases. Openings for a universal data mounting plate and duplex power are conveniently located at the back of the work surface.
